Assembling RTA cabinets
Flat-stacked RediFrame cabinets go together with cam-and-screw joinery — one person, a Phillips screwdriver, and a few minutes per box. No clamps, no glue, no specialty tools.
The drawings
Every cabinet follows the same 12-part structure, and the full assembly drawings are here: RediFrame assembly drawings (PDF). The order confirmation email links the same document.
Tips from the shop floor
- Assemble on a flat, padded surface — the fronts are primed, not armored.
- Hang doors after the boxes are set; the soft-close hinges adjust in three directions for even reveals.
- Undermount slides click in and out — drawer boxes come back off without tools for finishing.
- Finish before you install: scuff the primer, topcoat, let it cure, then hang.
