The complete RTA cabinet
A RediFrame RTA cabinet is everything: the primed Shaker front, the carcass, dovetail drawer boxes, soft-close hinges and undermount slides — flat-stacked for freight, or assembled in West Plains if you'd rather pay for time than spend it.
The 12-part structure
Every cabinet breaks down the same way, straight from the catalog's construction drawing. When you buy flat-stacked, these are the parts in the box:
| # | Part | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Door | Full-overlay Shaker, Alder, 6-layer primed |
| 2 | Concealed hinge | Soft-close cup hinge + mounting plate |
| 3 | Drawer box side | Dovetail drawer box component |
| 4 | Drawer front | Shaker, matches doors |
| 5 | Drawer box | Four-sided dovetailed box, captured bottom |
| 6 | Drawer back | Drawer box rear rail |
| 7 | Drawer slide | Undermount soft-close slide |
| 8 | Top rear rail | Stretcher tying the case top |
| 9 | Back panel | Case back |
| 10 | Adjustable shelf | Where the model lists shelves |
| 11 | Cabinet bottom | Case bottom deck |
| 12 | Toe kick / base front | Recessed kick area |
Hardware
- Hinges — concealed soft-close cup hinges with mounting plates.
- Slides — undermount soft-close drawer slides.
- Drawer boxes — dovetailed, with captured bottoms.
Buying Front + hardware gets you the primed front package plus hinges and slides for boxes you build locally. Front + cabinet box + drawer box is everything except the hardware, for shops running their own hardware programs.
Assembly
Flat-stacked cabinets assemble with cam-and-screw joinery — one person, one screwdriver, a few minutes per box. The full assembly drawings are here: RediFrame assembly drawings (PDF). An assembly video is in the works; the PDF is the reference today.
